PARENT WISE
The ParentWISE Program serves parents, caregivers, educators, mental health providers, probation and detention staff, clergy, health care providers, social service providers, and children. We work with schools, communities, and families to eliminate child abuse, neglect and violence.
The ParentWISE Program has been a leader in parent education for more than 30 years. We offer educational series and workshops for parents, caregivers and the professionals who work with families are offered. Parent Discussion groups are available for peer support and group interaction. A toll free Help Line (1-800-544-0227) is available for parents and caregivers to call for information, referral or a listening ear.
The ParentWISE Program offers support and education to families experiencing changes or difficulties. Whether there are allegations of neglect or abuse; or involvement in the legal system; or struggles with an adolescent, or sibling rivalry, or a divorce or a remarriage; or a diagnosis of ADHD; or a new daddy trying to tell if the baby is sick, The ParentWISE Program is available for education, support or referral to services. Our overall hope is that by supporting and encouraging caregivers, they will feel confident and comfortable in their roles as caregiver.
