Grief Recovery

Participants receive the Grief Recovery Handbook and will examine the myths of grieving and discuss the consequences of incomplete grief through utilizing guided activities. (fee $75)

Why do the things that seem to work with “other” children not work with yours?  Learn survival skills for managing their behavior and learn how to build on your strengths and your child’s  strengths.  Participants receive the CHADD Parent Manual.  (fee $115)

Getting Along with Your Child’s Other Parent

Parenting between households presents unique challenges.  This mini-series examines co-parenting  by focusing on ways to communicate, the importance of appropriate boundaries and strategies for dealing with behavior problems. (fee $50)

Children and Violence

Exposure to violence disrupts growth and development.  This min-series examines the impact of violence experienced by children in the home, community and media.  Other programs that deal with the issue of violence will also be examined. (fee $50)
