Crisis Diversion and Stabilization
The MH Residential Adult Crisis Diversion and Stabilization Program is a six (6) bed unit which provides 24-hour emergency services, 7 to 10 day residential and treatment supports to individuals in crisis, and acts as a hospital diversion or step down service. Staff provide one-on-one supports to individuals so that they can work through the crisis and return to their living environment.
Services Provided:
- Psychiatric and medical services are facilitated as needed and other mental health treatment services arranged.
- An essential responsibility of the Adult Diversion and Stabilization Program is to provide information regarding mental illness to the individuals so they can better understand their illness, reasons for treatment, and to improve their coping skills.
- The Adult Crisis Diversion and Stabilization Program decreases the need for community hospital inpatient services for individuals in crisis as we provide assessment, evaluation, clinical supervision, medication monitoring and therapeutic intervention.

The Adolescent Diversion and Stabilization (DAS) Program is a 24 hour, short-term residential treatment facility for teens 13 to 17 years of age with a primary mental health diagnosis. Diversion and Stabilization enables teens to learn problem solving skills in a therapeutic group setting. On an individual basis, the unit provides psychological assessment, medication management and monitoring, and service linkage. Additionally, the DAS unit’s daily schedule includes individual and group sessions aimed at promoting coping skills, symptom stabilization, and preparing for the next, appropriate level of care.

The Fairweather Lodge for Individuals with Behavioral Health Disorders
The Fairweather Lodge is a community living arrangement designed specifically for persons with mental illness who wish to live independently and be productive members of their community. Persons who may benefit from lodge living are those who want to live independently and work, but may lack the finances, resources, support and skills to do so on their own. Through shared responsibility, accountability, work and mutual respect, individuals can build a strong foundation in which to enjoy safe, affordable housing, find and keep employment, develop friendships, and have support in their recovery.
Fairweather Lodges are managed by the members with assistance provided by the Lodge Coordination Specialist as needed and in emergencies. The Lodge Coordination Specialist serves as a consultant, educator and teacher of the Principles of Fairweather Lodge living.
