Foster Care
Services.
The Foster Care Program provides
substitute family homes for children whose
parents or other birth family members are
currently unable to provide a safe and healthy
environment for them.
Children from birth through 18 years of age
are accepted for placement. Many of the children
placed have physical, medical, emotional,
behavioral, neurological, or developmental
problems.
The children are placed in foster homes which
provide not only a family environment but with
our support services also meet the children's
fundamental needs for safety, shelter,
stimulation, and nurturance while also helping
to improve the children's developmental levels
and self-esteem. For more information,
